We explore a variety of pedagogical traditions, unpicking both the positive and negative aspects of differing approaches, whilst considering how longstanding methodologies apply to the needs of today’s students. As part of the process, participants will be encouraged to reflect on their own learning experiences. The aim of this class is to establish an understanding of the foundations that serve to influence and underpin modern-day pedagogy.
