Robin Wilson
Dr. Robin Wilson is an internationally acclaimed pedagogue and Professor of Violin at the Royal Academy of Music and the Yehudi Menuhin School. A leading authority on string education, his students are major international prize winners and hold principal positions in world-class orchestras. Beyond his teaching, Robin is a distinguished soloist and chamber musician, particularly noted for his work with the historical performance ensemble Ironwood. His scholarly research on Brahms earned him the prestigious Karl Geiringer Prize, and his discography includes acclaimed recordings for Decca and ABC Classics. He performs on a 1784 Gagliano workshop violin.
